Why IP?

Intellectual property is a term representing a collection of exclusive legal rights associated with an intangible asset created by a person, often called creations of the mind. Examples of intellectual property include musical, literary and artistic works (e.g., copyrights); discoveries and inventions (e.g., patents or trade secrets); and words, phrases, symbols and designs (e.g., trademarks).
